March Events — Outreach to the Pathways to Home 24hr Crisis Housing for Men and Women
The Ministry will be going Saturday, March 10th and 24th to the Pathways to Home 24-hour Crisis Housing for Men and Women in Los Angeles. Minister Eric K. Parchman and Pastor Tony Barona will be giving a message of Love and Hope.
We are bringing God's Love to many homeless men and women. Our mission is to build relationships and bring hope to their difficult situations.
We can use more volunteers for these wonderful events. We'll start around 2pm to about 5:30pm. If you can help us, click on Volunteers above and come to either the mens or womens event. We can use your help at either one.
On a Wing And A Prayer Ministries is a non-profit organization and outreach ministry mandated by God to reach the lost, underprivileged, disenfranchised, and the forgotten throughout Los Angeles and Orange County areas. We provide basic necessities such as food, bibles, and worship services. We raise human spirits with uplifting christian music and inspirational messages and testimonies which has allowed God to change lives.
All of this could not be possible without the continued support of dedicated staff and volunteers in assisting in distributing the basic necessities to the various people in need. We are a ministry that believes in showing the love of God to all people; thus, bringing restoration, healing, and hope to those that have been abused, neglected, lost, and struggling with addictions. We help bring church and God's love to those who feel they don't fit into the main stream society of church.
“35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ ”
